# Spur Gear Specifications

Attachment to shaft with keyway.

**Applications:**

Replaces metal spur gear and pinion set  
Change gears  
Any application where spur gears are used

**Problem:**  
Steel gears required lubrication.

**Solution:**  
Replaced large gear with INTECH Power-Core to eliminate lubrication.

## Small Spur Gear Specifications

Small spur gears with integral bearing  
**OD 1.5", OD 2.25", 1.75" face**

**Problem:**  
Idler gear, space constraints--no room for metal core

**Solution:**  
Shrank gear blank onto bearing prior to cutting teeth
