Cast In Metal Core

Metal hubs gravity cast in Power-Core allow for optimal bonding of the metal core to the plastic outer surface, this bond is optimized for how plastics react in real-world operating conditions and isn't achievable by any other production process such as extrusion, pressing or pressure molding. The metal core allows forces to be optimally transmitted to the working surface and ensures the metal hub doesn't separate from the plastic working surface, as is common in most plastic gears. The metal core allows drilled shafts and key slots to be finished with tolerance equal to steel.

AGMA Class 10+ gears. 

Power-Core has the lowest level of water absorption of all polyamides and thus the most negligible expansion properties. Power-Core has the highest dimensional stability of any polyamide currently on the market. Power-core also has far superior creep resistance to extruded or injection molded short glass fiber reinforced polymers and has extremely high impact strength even at temperatures below -50°C
