Our PowerCore conveyor rollers, impellers and seals provide reliability in critical upstream, midstream and downstream applications.

Out of all the large, load-bearing applications for our PowerCore components, one of the most challenging is the driven conveyor rollers for spiral welding systems.

The plastic conveyor rollers have a V-shaped profile and carry oil, gas or chemical pipelines weighing up to 33 tons. With a diameter of 17 inches, these non-marking heavy-duty conveyor rollers go a long way in demonstrating our polymer’s superior load-bearing capabilities and long wearing potential. In addition to rollers for pipeline handling systems, corrosion and cavitation-resistant impellers and seals play an important role in this industry, including refineries, natural gas metering and applications involving remotely operated vehicles (ROV) and subsea and overground equipment.

Eliminate pipe wear and marking

Although steel conveyor rollers can easily withstand the forces exerted by the heavy pipeline sections, the resulting metal-on-metal wear dramatically shortens the life of the rollers — and can mark or damage the pipe itself.

Our valves and seals are impervious to corrosion and won’t swell in seawater, wastewater, chlorinated water or other chemical applications. In addition:

Our PowerCore seals won’t gall or seize like metallic or composite-based rings.
Seals maintain their dimensions even at -40 Celsius. PowerCore seals won’t swell or brittle like cast Nylon 6 and won’t stress crack under pressure like PEEK.
